The BC4000 APP provides a fun way to get familiar with historical leaders, cities, wonders, innovation and research events through your iPhone.
You take the role of tribal leader in 4000 B.C. who must guide people through the centuries from the Stone Age to the Space Age. Each turn allows you to move your units on the map, build or improve new cities and units, and initiate negotiations with the AI players. You will also choose technologies to research. These reflect the cultural, intellectual, and technical sophistication of the civilization, and usually allow you to build new units or to improve cities with new structures. Achieving success requires a balance between economic expansion, military strength, and technological development. Not only must you develop all three in concert to both expand and successfully defend your empire.
The turn-based strategy logic and user interactive concept are inspired by the original Sid Meier's Civilization 1 released at 1991. Most graphics, music, map and text materials come from public domain licensed by Creative Commons License or General Public License.
